Traffic Signal Design

RK Engineering provided traffic engineering services to make design modifications on the existing traffic signal equipment at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Norton Avenue in the City of Lynwood. The design plan included a traffic signal design plans showing the modifications to the existing signing and striping, which accommodated for a proposed raised median modification. RK Engineering conducted site visits to review existing geometry, signing and striping, traffic patterns, and above ground utilities. Based on these field reviews and current plan sets, RK Engineering was able to provide the City of Lynwood with a safe and efficient traffic signal design that would accommodate for the expected increase in traffic volume flow.
