Harbor Blvd. Hotel & Water Park, City of Garden Grove
RK Engineering provided multiple services including a traffic impact analysis, an acoustical analysis, and an air quality report for the proposed Harbor Boulevard Hotel and Water Park project in the City of Garden Grove.
The project site consisted of a 605 room resort hotel with a water park included for hotel guests only. The project was assessed with respect to on and off-site generated traffic, noise, and air impacts. The traffic impact analysis studied the proposed hotel from a traffic circulation standpoint. RK recognized that the proposed project would have a significant traffic impact therefore, RK developed various mitigation measures that would restore the LOS back to the City's requirement. In addition, the acoustical and air quality studies provided our client with the proper building materials to comply with City's regulations.
